Group Projects

Armageddon

Armageddon is the first game we made as a project group in the first year. This game is an action adventure card game. The story of the game is that in a parallel universe the earth is in a crisis situation which has caused massive amounts of chaos everywhere. This led to like minded groups flocking to each other, which resulted in the creation of certain sectors. That is the bases of our game. each and every sector has a special ability which is unique to them. The goal of the game is simple your sector must build a safe zone before a certain doom strikes the earth. You can make this safe house by collecting resources and raw materials. Since this was one of the first projects I worked upon I did not know a lot about gaming and how to make games, so I pitched in help in designing and pitching of this game and also worked the concept sketches for the sector.

Cute Cargo

Cute cargo was part of an assignment we worked upon in year 1. The game targets to help people suffering burnout at workplaces and do not have a healthy working environment. Three players can play this game together. The players are thrown into a train and they have to collect coal so that the coal fuels the train and keeps it moving. The players must solve puzzles together to get the coals and then progress through the levels.

 

 

 The game encourages people to play together to complete levels. Thus it acts as an icebreaker. People can communicate with their colleagues while playing the game and this gives them an opportunity to create human connections that would go beyond playing games and would help in reducing stress levels at work. 

For this game, I had created the 2D background environment- eg- the train, train tracks, rocks, land.
